My Therapy Style

My greatest aspiration is to partner with others to help improve their quality of life. I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families on topics such as loss, coping skills, phase of life adjustments, relationship roles, social skills, and family dynamics. My therapy style is relational. I believe change occurs in the context of acceptance. My practice is focused on individuals, adolescents and their families with functional deficits and related disorders. I work with those in crisis and in day-to-day life challenges. I work with individuals dealing with Trauma, Grief, Depression, Anxiety, OCD, and Relational difficulties. I have extensive experience working with severely mentally ill clients with Schizophrenia, BiPolar Disorder, Phobias, and Mood Disorders. I work with youth dealing with developmental and life crisis issues. I have worked with the elderly and their families extensively on adjusting and managing expectations due to physical and mental changes and limitations. I believe that given the right set of tools and the ability to apply them, anyone can be successful.
